This product is made by the ethylene's by-product, through separating and refining. It is colorless or yellowish transparent liquid with analogous camphor smell. It has great solubility with ethanol, ether and carbon tetrachloride, etc, but is undissolved in water.
DCPD can be used as basic material of organic products such as: ferrocene, UPR,adamantane, nobornene, cyclopentene, cyclopentane, cyclopentanol, cyclopentanone, cyclopentane halide, glutaraldehyde and etc. This product also can be prepared to produce Hydrocarbonresin, unsaturated polyesrer resin and etc.
